Jordan McKee and Jaida Gold have been named the Moxies Players of the Month for November

Jordan McKee - Men's Volleyball

Jordan McKee, an outside hitter from Calgary, continues to shine in his third year with the Rattlers. A Sports and Event Marketing Management student, McKee has proven to be a powerhouse on the court, leading the league in total kills with 138 and ranking second in kills per set with 4.18. His exceptional performances in November have earned him the title of Player of the Month.

In seven matches during November, McKee played 26 sets, recording 113 kills, 14 aces, 45 digs, and 8 blocks for a total of 135 points. His consistency and ability to make an impact in every game were pivotal to the Rattlers’ success throughout the month. McKee’s leadership on the court and his relentless pursuit of excellence have set the tone for his team, making him an invaluable asset.

The Rattlers volleyball team returns to action on November 29, taking on the Lakeland Rustlers away. Afterward, they’ll be back in the Snake Pit on January 17 to face the Ambrose Lions. Come and show your support for McKee and the Rattlers as they aim for continued success this season!

Jaida Gold - Women's Basketball

Jaida Gold, a second-year guard from Medicine Hat, has been named the Player of the Month for November.

Over six games in November, Gold logged an impressive 185 minutes on the court, averaging over 30 minutes per game. She recorded 27 field goals, including 6 three-pointers, and added 11 free throws to accumulate a total of 71 points. Her all-around game contributed to her team’s performance, as she secured 37 rebounds (14 offensive and 23 defensive), 20 assists, 9 steals, and maintained her presence in the defensive half with consistent efforts.

Gold’s contributions highlight her versatility as both a scorer and playmaker, demonstrating why she is one of the top players to watch in the league. The Rattlers basketball team will return to action on January 10, facing the Saint Mary’s University Lightning away, followed by a home game against the same team on January 11.
