The ACAC Futsal Championships are coming to Medicine Hat, with the Snake Pit set to host the top teams in the conference from March 20–22, 2026. Both the Rattlers Men's and Women's Futsal teams are automatically qualified as hosts, and both squads will be looking to capitalize on home-court advantage.
The Rattlers Men's team enters the tournament as the reigning ACAC Champions, having gone undefeated in the playoffs last season after finishing 8–2 in regular season play. Their efforts earned them their second championship banner, along with individual honors for ACAC Men's Player of the Year and Coach of the Year.
On the women's side, the Rattlers are coming off an intense playoff run that ended in an overtime victory over Lakeland to claim the bronze medal. With six previous ACAC titles, the team is aiming to add a seventh gold in front of the home crowd. The squad also features the ACAC Women's Player of the Year, underscoring the strength of the program heading into this year's championship.
This year's tournament introduces a new playoff format: lose once, and you're out of the running for gold. Win three straight, and you're crowned the 2026 ACAC Futsal Champion. The stakes are higher, and the margin for error is smaller.
